Our first step was to secure the proper licensing. After researching Rhode Island's requirements to obtain a real estate broker license I proceeded to complete each educational requirement, background checks, provide letters of good standing from the states I am already licensed in, gather endorsements from Rhode Island residents, complete the Tax Affidavit and Power of Attorney, and submit the completed application along with all licensing fees.
Now that all of that is completed and submitted I have been told I should have my license in hand in 7 days.
